On friday, she did a trial run with some willing guinea pigs and it was a lot of fun. We spent the first part of the afternoon learning how to make scones, as well as cucumber sandwiches and bright pink cupcakes. We then had the fun bit of sitting down to a table swathed in lace, and bedecked with an array of traditional English cups and saucers. The food was scrumptious, and was washed down with a perfectly brewed cuppa, of course. I think this new venture will do a roaring trade with anyone wanting to learn the fine arts of English afternoon tea in a fun, relaxed setting. You can view her website here.
