Mum and dad's trip - Tuesday

On tuesday morning I took mum and dad to the Tokyo American Club to show them around, but we had also booked dad in for a session on the golf simulator. It's in a small dark room, which has a big screen where you can play on some of the best courses in the world at the press of a button. We left dad to do that while mum and I headed off for a much needed coffee.

Once all was done, we headed for lunch at a tofu restaurant nearby - a beautiful, 200 year old building, where each set of diners has their own tatami mat room overlooking a beautiful garden. The weather had sadly started to turn pretty grey by the time we sat down, but it was still a lovely experience. By the time we left, the skies had opened and the rain was pouring down. We managed a quick scoot through the gardens of Roppongi Hills and then home before the rain really kicked in and the winds whipped up into a frenzy.
