Tadaima!

Well, I'm back! We arrived in Narita airport yesterday morning to bright sun and blue skies and it felt good! We even bumped into Chris and Becky at the airport, who were waiting for their son to arrive from England, with three dogs in tow! Luckily the dogs survived and are now getting used to their new lives in Tokyo.

Anyway, the trip back to England was so lovely! As well as getting back to work and catching up with everyone there (and moving offices in the midst of preparing for a big show in Texas), I managed to see lots of family and friends. Florence and Delilah are really growing up fast and such sweethearts. I got to celebrate my sister's birthday with a great night out in Battersea, and I got to celebrate my big birthday with several events! Audrey treated me to a fab day out down in Brighton with the works - afternoon tea and a pamper session at a spa. I also got to visit my beloved NY and see all my lovely friends there. The weather was stunning and I just love the amazing positive energy. Then in my last week, Neil popped over and we went up to the Lake District where we stayed in a lovely hotel overlooking one of the lakes. We went for a hefty walk and ate lots of fish and chips - heaven!

And now we are back in Tokyo. I am feeling a bit punch drunk at the moment as I get over the jetlag. All I want to do is curl up and sleep forever, but know it's not a good idea. I'm looking forward to some adventures over the next few months, so watch this space....
